Who is it for?

All Year 2 teachers

What are the benefits?

To ensure all Year 2 staff have an understanding of the arrangements for statutory assessment and moderation at the end of KS1 in 2023. To consider the evidence needed to support accurate teacher assessment at the end of KS1. To ensure the place of tests in making teacher assessments is clearly understood.

Objectives:
● Have a greater understanding of the expectations in reading, writing and maths at the end of KS1
● Have a greater understanding of the range of evidence required to support teacher assessment judgements in reading, writing and maths
● Know about the statutory assessment and moderation procedures for 2022
