NQTs, teachers new to teaching Year 2 or returning to Year 2

What are the benefits?

The session will support practitioners in considering how to meet the specific demands of the Year 2 curriculum, including end of key stage 1 assessment and moderation requirements.

Objectives:

By the end of this course participants will:
● Consider and share examples of good practice in Year 2
● Be aware of the assessment and reporting arrangements for 2021-22
● Consider planning and teaching strategies to ensure appropriate evidence for teacher assessment and moderation.
